“Keto” diets are actually a lifestyle. But we can take out some of the recipes that these models present and apply them to our breakfasts.
The first breakfast recipe is the “egg and avocado omelet”. This omelette provides the nutritional properties of the egg along with the avocado.

Mixed recipes for a good breakfast
As already mentioned, the “keto” diet is practically a lifestyle to which one must get used. That is why in this publication we will deal with a mixture between this type of diet and the traditional ones.
1. Broccoli and cheese pancakes
- 1 cup of broccoli
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup of grated cheese
- 1/2 cup of ground oats
- 1/4 cup of natural yogurt (natural flavor)
- 1/2 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon of salt
- 1/4 tablespoon of sugar (to balance the acidity of the mixture)
- 1/4 cup of oil
The preparation of this healthy breakfasts are so simple, like this one!
First we must put our broccoli in the pan using the oil to fry them. Remove the broccoli and mix it with the oats and cheese. Shape them and season them with salt (to taste), put that little bit of sugar on the surface next to the onion. We finish cooking the mixture over a low heat in very hot oil. Once finished, we serve the portion and we accompany them with the natural yogurt.
2. “Keto” brownies
- 1 cup of walnuts (100g), toasted and chopped
- 1/2 cup of almond flour (70g).
- 3/4 cups of coconut sugar (150g)
- 1 1/4 cups of butter (120g)
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/4 cups unsweetened dark chocolate (200g)
In a cup we must mix the bitter chocolate with the butter. After that, we place the bowl on a pot of boiling water (this way we will melt the chocolate and butter mixture).
In another cup and with the help of a beater (or a fork) we mix the eggs and the coconut sugar. Without beating too much we incorporate the ingredients (being careful not to exceed the amount of air included in the mixture).
We throw this mixture on the melted chocolate and mix it. Then we add the almond flour and the nuts and incorporate them by mixing.
The most important and last step in the preparation of the brownie is baking at 170º C (338º F) for 30 minutes. We let it rest at room temperature and then decorate to taste! Tell me if this is not a healthy breakfasts? Let’s go for more!
3. Omelette Sandwich
This is a very easy meal to make and very delicious. Indeed, only a few products are needed to cook a good breakfast like this. It can go very well with “keto” coffee, an intense combination!
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons of milk
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- 2 boxed breads
- Salt (to taste)
- 3 slices of ham (of the type you prefer)
- 1/4 grating cheese
In a bowl beat the egg, milk, salt and pepper to taste.
Then, in a frying pan add butter and the egg. Cook it for 4 minutes and add the bread, wetting it with the egg on both sides. Turn it over and cook it for 4 more minutes. Add the ham and the cheese.
Finally, close the sandwich and brown it for 4 minutes. Serve hot and enjoy!
4. Banana Hot Cakes (Mini) with Nutella or “Dulce de leche” (Milk Sweet)
In this recipe we will present a classic breakfast in North America and some sectors of Latin America. It is the banana hot cake. A quick and easy option of approximately 15 minutes! Ideal for sharing!
- 2 bananas
- An egg
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- One tablespoon of sugar (12g)
- A teaspoon of salt (4g)
- Butter for greasing (by eye)
- Any red fruit or different from the banana to make the mixture more colorful!
- Dulche de leche” or Nutella
Use a container or bowl to crush the bananas, add the egg and milk to the mixture. Add the baking powder, salt, sugar and mix again to obtain a slightly liquid consistency.
We heat a frying pan to low-medium temperature and put the butter on it to obtain the fat we need. Cook the whole hot cake evenly for 5 minutes (2.5 minutes per side).
Finally serve it with the red fruit you chose or the one you prefer!
You can use heavy cream if you wish!
